"People's Choice Award" Canine Art Guild - Helping Paws 2008 exhibition
My painting of the pit bull puppy who was a victim of a home ear crop won the "People's Choice Award" in the Helping Paws 2008 on-line exhibition!  Please visit the Canine Art Guild  to view the exhibition. The wonderful man who adopted the puppy, "Cupcake", purchased the painting I titled "Innocent". I donated 100% of the money to the shelter who took in the puppy and provided her with veterinary care, love, and found her a loving home. The award money from the People's Choice Award, also went to the rescue organization. Please visit Almost Home NM to read "Cupcake's" story and to see the wonderful dogs and cats which need homes. This was a wonderful exhibition which provided many shelter's across the country needed money and exposure to the never ending cause to help abandoned and abused animals.

Dear Christine ... I haven't visited your website in a long while .. so thought I would and worked my way through and found your portrait of my baby girl Cupcake ... how I just love, love Cupcake and her little brother Xander. I have her portrait on the wall next to my bed .. and when I awake each morning .. Cupcake's portrait is what I see ... Love her so much.
